Schools in poorer areas of South Africa can’t always afford to offer kindergarten, so many young children miss out on their early education. It’s much harder for them to succeed in life if they don’t have early literacy and numeracy skills.
Bible Society supplies literacy classes with free Bible-based literacy books. These give the children a head start in their schooling and teach them about God’s love.
